A video synopsis of the film project. Currently in pre-production. Pursuit of a Green Planet is a documentary film project that looks at the intersection of Hip Hop and the Green Movement through an exploration of food and health issues in poor and urban communities. The film focuses on Keith Tucker, a regular guy who will become a living experiment as he makes the radical transition from your average American diet and lifestyle to a truly green, organic vegan lifestyle. He will be our guide on a journey of discovery as we learn how our food today actually makes us sick, the role corporations play in determining what we consume, the history of chemicals in our food chain, how our everyday eating habits can become deadly and what we can do to combat these realities. This will be an amazing opportunity for health professionals to study, evaluate and gain knowledge of the human body, particularly when it pertains to eating the various foods in our common American diet. Why make things harder than they have to be? Spinny Mangoes…you can’t go wrong. To stay consistent, let’s keep it simple and clean. No mess, no fuss. 1. Spinach or other leafy green, as much as you can drink comfortably 2. A good handful of mango, Trader Joe’s has a great frozen mango chunk option. 3. Play around with another fruit, fresh or dried. I did some raisins, why not raspberries or banana? 4 Maybe a little sea salt to balance the sweetness, and any oil you might want to add in. Your call. 5. Good water is KEY. Don’t skimp. Brita-filtered tap water is NOT OPTIMAL. Enjoy consistently for maximum results. Nothing is permanent, remember that always. To all naysayers, tell them that you’re trying something for a little while, and that they should take it easy. Why watching this, try to stretch your neck or jog in place if you have the option. Stay active!
